Battery Capacity Testing

Capacity testing your batteries is the only way to determine if your battery plant is up for the job of supporting your critical loads and preventing failures. Whether it's a battery plant associated with a UPS system or a DC plant, Power Protection Unlimited will deliver the load bank to your site, set up the test, and monitor and record the results. Our trained technicians routinely perform capacity tests according to IEEE standards. We can also customize the test to suit your specific equipment acceptance requirements.

Power Protection Unlimited technicians can also use the CELLWATCH battery monitoring system to record the test results. CELLWATCH provides trending data for individual batteries/cells, determining the overall health of the battery plant.

When the capacity testing is completed, we will send you a detailed report of the health of your battery plant, as well as any recommendations for repairs or replacements that need to be made in the near future.
